Doctors & Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Albright and Schnulo Family Eye Care the leading provider of vision care products and services in Worthington.

Dr. James B. Albright

Dr. Albright grew up in Worthington and graduated from Worthington High School. He attended Otterbein College and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1976.

Dr. Albright is past president of the Worthington Jaycees and recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. He was previously chosen and honored as “Young Optometrist of The Year” in Ohio, along with being a past president of the Central Ohio Optometric Association.

He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at OSU and enjoys teaching optometry students. Dr. Albright and his wife Vicki live in Westerville. They have five children. Dr. Jim enjoys his family, his friends, his faith and all sports.

Dr. Stephen E. Schnulo

Dr. Schnulo hails from Warren, Ohio. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry.

He is past president of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, graduate and past board member of Leadership Worthington. Dr. Schnulo has enjoyed being a clinical instructor at The Ohio State University College of Optometry and past treasurer of Central Ohio Optometric Association as well.

“Dr. Steve” as his patients call him, continues to be active in the community while raising his three children. Along with his participation in coaching children’s sports, he is also active in his church.

Dr. Jay Lytle

Dr. Lytle has deep roots in the Worthington area. His grandmother was a teacher at Evening Street Elementary School, both his parents graduated from Worthington High School in 1976 and he graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School in 2006.

Dr. Lytle graduated from the Ohio State University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in medical science before earning his doctorate of optometry with high honors from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2014. He is the 2014 William Feinbloom and OSU Low Vision award winner for clinical excellence in vision rehabilitation and the 2013 national InfantSEE® Scholarship Grant winner for his essay promoting infant eye care.

In addition to comprehensive vision and eye health examinations, Dr. Lytle provides vision rehabilitation, pediatric care and specialty contact lens services. He also serves as clinical director for TLC Laser Eye Center in Dublin, OH.

He is a licensed minister and, in addition to serving at his local church, enjoys leading a state-wide youth program called Bible quizzing. Dr. Lytle lives in Galloway with his loving wife.
